Steven Spielberg to Interact with Amitabh Bachchan, 60 Indian Filmmakers in Mumbai

In his maiden trip to India, renowned Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg will interact with over sixty personalities of the Indian Film industry.

Spielberg, who arrived in India on 10 March, will be seen conversing with megastar Amitabh Bachchan at the event.

According to reports, Spielberg will share tips on film making with the sixty Indian directors who have confirmed their presence for the big event which is scheduled for Monday evening.

"It can easily be called as master class session wherein Steven Spielberg will be imparting knowledge to Indian directors and would be learning from them as well and the list includes the biggest of names like Rajkumar Hirani, Anurag Kashyap, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, Abhishek Kapoor, Habib Faisal, Ram Gopal Varma, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Farah Khan to name a few," a source told Mid-Day.

The event will be held at Taj Lands End. Spielberg is in India for a four-day visit to celebrate the Oscar success of his film "Lincoln," a DreamWorks and Fox co-production in which Anil Ambani's Reliance ADA Group has a 50 percent stake.

Amitabh who is shooting for Parkash Jha's upcoming movie "Satyagraha" in Bhopal will be flown to Mumbai in a special charted plane to attend the event.

"Bachchan is in the middle of shooting some important sequences for Satyagraha and does not want to disrupt the shooting schedule. He will be flying to Mumbai and will be returning to Bhopal the very next day to resume shooting," a source told Dailymail.

"Since Bachchan is close to the Ambanis, he has agreed to be part of the bash and thus the special flight arrangement has been made."
