The makers of Mahesh Babu's "Srimanthudu" have unleashed its teaser as a birthday gift to the actor's father -- superstar Krishna -- who turned 72 on 31 May.
"Srimanthudu" is being directed by "Mirchi" fame Koratala Siva and produced by Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shanker Yalamanchili and Mohan Cherukuri under Mythri Movie Makers' banner. Mahesh Babu and Shruti Haasan have played lead roles in the movie, which has Devi Sri Prasad's and Madhie's camera work.
The minute-long video of "Srimanthudu", which was released on YouTube on 30 May, shows that it is a commercial entertainer high on action quotient. The teaser does not offer much hint at the story line of the film, but it shows that Mahesh Babu appears in a never-played-before role. He looks handsome and younger and his action scenes are choreographed stylishly.
Mahesh Babu plays a millionaire, named Harsha, in the movie. Other than his character, the teaser of "Srimanthudu" does not offer any hint at the roles played by Shruti, Jagapati Babu, Rajendra Prasad, Sampath Raj and Brahmanandam, who too appear in key roles. The video offers a glimpse of beautiful picturisation and amazing background in the film.
