Launched at the recently concluded event in Shimla on June 1, Sony's Xperia XZ Premium will finally go on sale in India on June 12.

The model will be available on both Sony authorised brick-and-mortar stores and e-commerce shop Amazon India for Rs. 59,990. For consumers, who had pre-booked the device before June 11, are eligible to claim free Sony wireless speaker worth Rs. 8990 and the handset box, which also includes a quick charger UCH-12 worth Rs. 3,490.

For those unaware, Sony Xperia XZ Premium boasts of numerous unique features compared to the current crop of flagship phones. The device boasts of a 4K HDR display, which guarantees unparalleled viewing experience. The model comes with latest Bluetooth 5.0 wireless technology and supports Cat.9 LTE networks, which means it is 5G ready. With this, users will be able to download files at close to 1gbps speed.

Another noteworthy feature is the camera hardware. The phone boasts of a state-of-the-art 19MP Motion Eye camera capable of recording ultra slow-motion videos at 960fps.

On the front too, the device houses an impressive 13MP camera with wide-angle field of view having 1/3.06-inch Exmor RS sensor.

Under-the-hood, the phone houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 quad-core CPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB inbuilt storage and a 3,230mAh battery with quick-charging technology.
