Soon after Google released the Android Nougat to the Nexus series devices, Sony announced the list of devices eligible for the new v7.0 mobile software. But, the details with regard to the time frame of the roll-out plan were withheld.

Now, a presentation slide understood to be showcased in the recently concluded Sony Slovakia's closed-door meeting leaked online revealing Android Nougat release schedule details.

As per the leaked file available with Xperia Blog, Sony's recently unveiled smartphone Xperia XZ and former flagship X Performance will be the first to receive the new firmware in October.

In November, Xperia X and X Compact owners will be able to taste the new sugar-flavoured Nougat update and in the following month of December, Sony is reportedly planning to release the firmware to Xperia Z5, Z3+ and Z4 series.

Mid-range Xperia XA and XA Ultra are slated to get Android 7.0 in the first quarter of 2017.

As of now, Sony has not made any official comment on the leaked Android Nougat release schedule.
