Bollywood actors Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu, who have been dating quite for a long time, have planned to get hitched through a registered marriage. They will have a low-key profile wedding that will take place on 25 January.
The Pataudi family had organised a grand wedding ceremony for Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor on 16 October 2012 and the event was attended by many film stars. Many had thought that the family would host a grand function for Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu as well. But the couple has decided to have a private ceremony
The Times of India reported that Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu will be getting married under the Special Marriage Act in the presence of a registrar at their home on 25 January. Their immediate family and some close friends will be present on the occasion.
The duo has been dating for four years and they spoke about their relationship many times in public. They have been in a live-in relationship for last one year and got engaged after Kunal proposed the actress in Paris in July 2014. She has confirmed the news about their engagement on her Twitter page.
On 23 July 2014, Soha Ali Khan had tweeted, "It gives me great happiness to share with you all that Kunal proposed to me in Paris with the most perfect ring in the world and I said yes."
Later, she had thanked all her followers for their wishes. She had written, "Thank you all for your wishes and blessings - I think I speak for us both when I say we now feel very grown up and utterly terrified!"
Later in November, Sharmila Tagore had spoken about her long-time wish to see her daughter getting married.
"Everyone in the family loves Kunal. We are all very happy that he and Soha have finally decided to get married. Kunal is a very nice person. He will keep my daughter immensely happy," Hindustan Times had quoted her as saying.
