Actress Shruti Haasan's selfie with actor Naga Chaitanya has fuelled the rumours that the couple, who had broken up last year, have rekindled their romance.
Shruti Haasan returned to Chennai after completing the promotional activities of her recent Bollywood release, "Gabbar is Back".
"Hello my lovely chennai !!! So good to be back home," she tweeted.
Later, the actress posted selfie featuring Naga Chaitanya with her on Facebook and wrote, "Hey!! Look it's Che !! #veryserious #funfriendsforever #travel."
A few minutes after she posted the selfie, rumours started doing the rounds in the social media. The photo was also circulated widely on micro-blogging sites. Her post has been liked by over 30,000 people and shared by 35+ fans. It has also got hundreds of comments.
Shruti Haasan and Naga Chaitanya have neither starred together in any film, nor were they spotted together frequently on public occasions.
Earlier, it was rumoured that they were introduced to each other through a common friend and that they dated each other for over six months.
Chaitanya and Shruti were seen sharing a great rapport at the Filmfare Awards function in Hyderabad in 2013.
Later, in April 2014, it was rumoured that Naga Chaitanya and Shruti Haasan had ended their affair.
