Ajay Devgn and Karan Johar will soon have a big box office clash as Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will be released on the same date. The much-anticipated clash had recently taken an ugly turn after Ajay shared an audio clip in which self-claimed critic Kamaal R Khan said that Karan paid him Rs 25 lakh to promote ADHM and criticise Shivaay.

Now, Ajay says that he had no intensions to have any fight with Karan, but he had issues with KRK. "It's really sad that things got ugly. But the idea wasn't to do that. It was an issue about this man (KRK). I never claimed that it was paid. This man tried to extort money from me saying he got paid. How do I know he got paid? He could be lying. I am sure he must be lying," DNA quoted Ajay as saying when asked about the issue.

"It wasn't my fight against Karan, but my fight against this man who claimed Karan had paid him to promote negativity about my film," he added.

Both Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil are two of the most awaited flicks of this year as both the trailers have received positive response from audience. Such big clashes often eat on each other's business, but Ajay is confident that Shivaay will be liked by audience.

"Yes, maybe a bit of it will get hampered. But then again, it's a pre-Diwali release so you cannot expect a huge opening. And the film which will have better content will automatically start doing better from Monday onwards. I am very confident about the film I made," he added.
