Shah Rukh khan, who has been shooting relentlessly for Maneesh Sharma's "Fan", was recently manhandled by cops and security guards outside his palatial bungalow, Mannat, in Mumbai.

Well, turns out it's a scene from the said film that's being shot outside the actor's residence. With a heavy crew filming the sequence wherein the superstar is stopped from entering the house and toddler AbRam Khan looking on, it made for quite an interesting frame.

SRK, who enjoys his work more than his life and a little less than his children, hasn't taken a break ever since he wrapped up the shoot of his superhit release, "Happy New Year".

A few days ago, he took to Twitter to express his gratitude for the film's team.

"& thank u Team Fan for the patience u all show for me to get it right as an ( actor ). Will try & get rid of the parenthesis that bind me," he posted.

In other news, on the Baadshah's 49th birthday, a few cameras were installed on Mannat roof top to capture the madness and love the actor's fans have for him. This apart, while on "SLAM!The Tour" with the "HNY" cast, he underwent a 3D face scanning in Los Angeles for his 2015 release.

From what has been reported, Academy Award-winning make-up artist, Greg Cannom, has been roped in to design a special look for the lead actor, which will be kept under wraps until the first look for the film is out.

Calling "Fan" a "commercially viable and intense film", Shah Rukh had earlier said the film didn't require a big female lead.

"There are two girls in the film. It is a film where I don't think you need a big lady star. It is cosy interesting, different film. It is one of the challenging films that I have done in 20 years," PTI quoted the actor as saying.

"Fan" essentially is the story of a movie star's fan and it is being said SRK will essay a double role. However, he has reportedly signed Rahul Dholakia's "Raees", alongside critically acclaimed actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
