Shah Rukh Khan might have to work for a few more days before he can completely wrap up Maneesh Sharma's "Fan". While the VFX work is underway and the release date is yet to be decided, makers have already begun their promotional campaign.

A source told DNA that they will soon begin the hunt for the biggest SRK fan worldwide. On being selected, the winner would get a chance to meet the superstar with a bunch of other surprises in tow.

"YRF is working out the intricacies at the moment but right now, they are implementing the social media drive for sure. The winner will get to meet Shah Rukh in person and there would be many other surprises in store for all fans," the insider further elaborated.

Since there has been no official confirmation yet, this can, at best, be counted as a speculation.

"Fan" was earlier eyeing the I-Day weekend, this year. Since the movie relies heavily on special effects the date had to be pushed back. The team, however, made way for Karan Johar's "Brothers".

After fans went into a panic mode on learning that "Fan", in all possibility, will hit screens next year, there were reports of makers considering end of November as a tentative window to release their labour of love.

"The 'Fan' team initially thought of releasing the film in September, on Bakri Eid. Then, there were talks of releasing the film around SRK's birthday (2 November). Now, SRK, producer Aditya Chopra, and director Maneesh Sharma have tentatively decided on a November-end release date," the leading daily quoted another source a few days ago.

In other news, Shah Rukh is currently shooting for Rahul Dholakia's "Raees", after which he will take up Rohit Shetty's "Dilwale". The latter has an interesting and fresh line-up and Kajol reuniting with SRK after 5 long years is a plus. Additionally, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon's chemistry would be fun to watch.
