Shah Rukh Khan, who is a doting father to three children, has been voted as "India's Most Popular Father" for the second time in a row.
Matrimonial site Shaadi.com conducted a survey online ahead of Father's day to find out the most popular father in India and globally.
The poll was conducted among more than 5,500 respondents globally and the results were declared two days ahead of Father's Day, which falls on 15 June (Sunday).
When asked about the most popular father in the country, Indian women named Shah Rukh at the top, followed by cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
SRK has two sons, Aryan and AbRam, and a daughter, Suhana. The actor has frequently spoken about his relationship with his children, especially Suhana on social networking sites.
Around 42.5 percent of the respondents voted for the "Chennai Express" actor, while master blaster Sachin Tendulkar got 36.9 percent votes and Big B received 20.6 percent votes.
Last year, the "Happy New Year" actor topped the list with 34.83 percent votes. Big B appeared at second spot in 2013 with 31.58 percent, followed by the cricketer Tendulkar with 18.61 percent votes.
When the respondents were asked about famous fathers of other nationalities, 40.3 percent women voted US president Barack Obama as the "Most Admired Dad", followed by actor Will Smith with 31.4 percent, David Beckham at third position with 15.2 percent votes and Roger Federer at fourth with 13.1 percent.
In the poll, the respondents were also asked to vote on "Father-Daughter Relationship" and "Father-Son Relationship".
Father-Daughter Relationship: Around 43.2 percent Indian women voted Shah Rukh and Suhana's relationship as India's "Most Admired Father-Daughter Relationship".
Around 27.3 percent voted for Mahesh Bhatt and Alia Bhatt, followed by Prakash Padukone and Deepika Padukone with 17.2 percent.
Indian women also voted Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor in the list with 12.3 percent.
Last year, Big B and his daughter Shweta Nanda made it to the top spot.
Father-Son Relationship: Rishi Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor got 33.4 percent vote from Indian women, when asked about "Most Admired Father-Son Relationship".
Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan came second with 31.2 percent, while SRK and his son Aryan got 23.3 percent votes.
"The survey highlights that people adore and idolize celebrities who spend quality time with family despite their celebrity status," Gourav Rakshit, chief operations officer, Shaadi.com, said in a statement.
