It's been over four months since the State Bank of India (SBI) Clerk Mains examination 2016 was conducted, but the results haven't been declared yet, leaving thousands of candidates frustrated and angry. Rubbing salt into wounds, the bank remains incommunicado despite aspirants expressing their disappointment in the open.

Nothing is clear at the moment, but it appears like candidates have to wait a little longer for the SBI Clerk Mains 2016 results, if reports are anything to go by. It has now emerged that the results would be declared after November 15. But again, one has to take it with a pinch of salt as the bank hasn't made any official statement on this so far.

This is despite candidates taking to social media to express their disappointment over the unprecedented delay in declaration of the SBI Clerk Mains 2016 results. Hundreds of them have tweeted to Prime Minister's Office, State Bank of India and Finance Minister, but in vain.

The state-run bank conducted the SBI Clerk Mains examination on June 25 and 26, 2016 for recruitment to the post of clerks or Junior Associates (JA) and Junior Agricultural Associates (JAA).

It usually takes only two months to declare results, but it's taking much longer this time. Reports have claimed that the delay is caused by a massive re-shuffle, including transfer and promotions within the bank's recruitment board.

Candidates can check the SBI Clerk Mains 2016 results on sbi.co.in when it is declared by providing roll number and date of birth.
