The delay in the declaration of the SBI Clerk Mains 2016 results has caused lots of distress to the aspirants, forcing many of them to express their disappointment on social media. The state-run bank usually declares the results two months after the written exam, but not this year. It announced Probationary Officer (PO) final exam results on September 30, but didn't say a word on Clerk Mains results.

A State Bank of India official has also reportedly said that the SBI Clerk Mains 2016 results have been delayed due to unavoidable circumstances and would be declared on sbi.co.in in due course of time, but didn't divulge more details. Candidates can check their results by providing roll number and date of birth on the website.

The state-run bank conducted Clerk Mains examination on June 25 and 26, 2016 for recruitment to the post of clerks or Junior Associates (JA) and Junior Agricultural Associates (JAA).
