"Sarainodu" (Sarrainodu), starring Allu Arjun and Rakul Preet, has concluded the first weekend with a decent collection at the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (AP/T) box office. It has become the third highest grossing Telugu film in the opening weekend in 2016.

Before its release, "Sarainodu" had created lot of hype and expectations and its makers had massively promoted the film, which was released in 960 screens in both states on April 22. It became the biggest opener for Allu Arjun and Boyapati Srinu.

"Sarainodu" (Sarrainodu) gathered mixed reviews from the audience, and the word-of-mouth feedback slightly affected its collection on Saturday. The movie was expected to show a big leap on Sunday, but failed to achieve that. The film has grossed Rs. 7 crore on its second day and Rs. 7.25 crore on its third day in the Telugu speaking states.

Its AP/T theatrical rights were sold for Rs. 40 crore and the movie has been successful in earning over 50 percent of the distributors' investment.
