Four years after the disastrous Anjaan, Lingusamy is back with Sandakozhi 2. He has teamed up with Vishal, who is basking in the success of hit movies like Thupparivalan and Irumbu Thirai.
The movie is a sequel to super-hit movie Sandakozhi, which was Vishal's second movie in Kollywood. The upcoming movie has Keerthy Suresh playing the female lead with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar enacting the character of an antagonist. Rajkiran will be seen in a key role with Ganja Karuppu, Ramdoss, Appani Sarath and others in the supporting cast. Sandakozhi 2 movie stills.
KA Sakthivel has handled the cinematography, while Praveen KL has edited the flick. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music as Kambathu Ponnu and Sooriyarum Sooriyanum songs have already stuck a chord with the audience.
Sandakozhi 2 is set in the backdrop of a village and rural commercial entertainer. Pechi (Varalaxmi) and her family members want to eliminate Anbu, the last man in their clan. Durai ayya (Rajkiran) and Balu (Vishal) want to save him. How the hero spoils Pechi's plans to kill him Anbu is the crux of the story.

Kaushik LM: #Sandakozhi2 - At the interval block, the film looked really promising. I liked the 1st half overall. Had the 2nd half also lived up to that level, the film would've been a cracker just like the first part.

Surendhar MK: #Sandakozhi2: Lacks the punch and vigor of the first part, but has its moments. Lingusamy's narrative steers clear of over-the-top moments barring a few exceptions here and there. The second half could not match up to the promising first half. Time-pass outing!

Rajasekar: #Sandakozhi2 - Not as great as the first part which is a landmark movie. Having said that the sequel is watchable for the majestic father-son bond (@VishalKOfficial - #RajKiran), brand #Sandakozhi moments , grand production values & most importantly @KeerthyOfficial in 1st half.
