South Korean consumer electronics giant, Samsung on Thursday (8 January) launched a mid-range LTE smartphone Galaxy Grand Max.
The new Galaxy Grand Max sports a 5.25-inch HD LCD screen and runs on the Android 4.4 KitKat OS out-of-the-box.
Under the hood, the company says it features the 1.2GHz quad-core CPU with no mention of chipset name. However, considering the recent launch of new Galaxy E7 and E5 in India, we believe Galaxy Grand Max houses the 64-bit class Snapdragon 410 SoC (System on Chip) with Adreno 306 graphics engine.
Other stipulated specifications include 1.5GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory, 13.0-megapixel camera and a 5.0-megapixel snapper on the front.
Samsung Galaxy Grand Max price and availability details:
The company has confirmed that Galaxy Grand Max will be initially made available in the home market South Korea via three national carrier networks for 319,000 SK Won (estimated to be around $290/€ 245/₹18,302) from 9 January.
