Samsung is dominating the news with its upcoming Galaxy Note 9 launch on August 9, building necessary hype for the flagship's release. But someone at Samsung jumped the gun and released an official intro video featuring the Galaxy Note 9, showing the complete handset and highlighting some of its biggest features.

The Galaxy Note 9 video has since been taken down but not before SamMobile managed to get a copy of the video. The official intro video is only 30 seconds long but gives away more than we can ask for – not to mention showing the full design of the upcoming smartphone.

The video shows the complete front and rear design of the Galaxy Note 9, which is in line with the previously leaked photos. The handset shown in the intro video is a blue version and the biggest highlight is the golden/yellow S Pen.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is touted as the "super powerful Note" with a "powerful S Pen". The video shows a dual rear camera setup with a fingerprint scanner underneath, as suggested by earlier leaks. Samsung also boasts the Galaxy Note 9's "powerful all day battery" and confirms the 512GB variant with microSD card slot supporting additional 512GB. That adds up to 1TB in total storage, which is more than what users can ask for from a smartphone.

We also see the USB Type-C post next to the stereo speaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It's good to see Samsung offer the headphone jack despite other OEMs pushing for wireless earphones. So now we know how the Galaxy Note 9 actually looks like and the biggest highlights courtesy of this short video, but there are many pieces missing from the puzzle.

All those missing pieces are for those who love to compare. Is Samsung Galaxy Note 9 better than iPhone X? Should I just wait for the iPhone X Plus out in just a few months? Well, the answers to these questions can be answered once we have our hands on the Galaxy Note 9, but if you'd like to take an early call, here are the possible specifications of Samsung's upcoming phablet.

If all goes as rumoured, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will feature a 6.3-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display, dual rear cameras with 12MP sensors and an 8MP front-facing camera. Under the hood, there's no room for compromise. The Galaxy Note 9 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845/ Exynos 9810 depending on where you live, and a 4,000mAh battery with wireless and fast charging support.

There will be different storage variants in Galaxy Note 9, starting with 64GB, 128GB and 512GB. Finally, to wrap things up, the handset's price is likely to be around $1,000, but Samsung said in its recent earnings report that the new Note will offer "exceptional performance for a reasonable price." We don't mind some surprise here.
