The new material design offers complex animations, 3-D views and improved runtime," the company said in a statement.

However, Samsung is yet to roll-out the new mobile OS update to the flagship phablet Galaxy Note 4.

Why Android 5.0 Lollipop is not yet released to Samsung Galaxy Note?

It has been learnt that the delay in Android Lollipop update for Galaxy Note 4 is due to Oculus VR, who are facing a tough time in tweaking the software ROM to make the flagship Samsung phablet compatible with the company's Gear Virtual Reality (VR) device.

For the uninitiated, Gear VR is a wireless virtual reality headset developed by Samsung in collaboration with Oculus Rift. It was launched along with Galaxy Note 4 in September last year. [More information, HERE]
