Comedian Samay Raina and YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia came together on Samay Raina's show, India's Got Latent, and after Ranveer's controversial question on the show triggered backlash, things escalated quickly, with Samay eventually being asked to delete all the episodes of Latent. After which, Ranveer rendered an unconditional apology and also mentioned that comedy is his forte.
And now, after a year, in April, Samay Raina came out with a banger video, Still Alive, where he announced that he will be coming with Season 2 of Latent. In his video, Samay literally roasted Ranveer by saying, "monk who (Ranveer) sold my Ferrari."
The video garnered over 10 million views on social media, and fans were already processing Samay's comeback. Now, a video of Samay and Ranveer collaborating has broken the internet.
Samay and Ranveer shot for the promo of Netflix's The Great Indian Kapil Show and are coming together on Kapil Sharma's show to celebrate World Laughter Day. While World Laughter Day is on May 3, the episode featuring them will premiere on Saturday, May 2.
Netflix shared a promo and wrote, "World Laughter Day pe laughter ka double dose Samay Raina x Ranveer Allahbadia in Mastiverse Watch The Great Indian Kapil Show on 2nd May at 8 PM, only on Netflix ."
The promo starts with Samay saying, "Doston, main finally aa raha hoon mere favourite show pe, The Great Indian Kapil Show. Par mujhe yeh bataya nahi gaya ke mere saath kaun guest hoga. Unhone kaha tha ke abhi batayenge, in 3, 2, 1..."
As soon as Samay ends the countdown, Ranveer comes excitedly and starts teasing him. Samay gets irritated and walks away. Well, it is a funny promo, and fans are definitely looking forward to this episode.
