Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan, daughter of scriptwriter Salim Khan, is set to enter the wedlock with politician Anil Sharma's son Aayush Sharma in Hyderabad on Tuesday, 18 November.

Arpita's wedding has become the talk of the B-town as her three brothers - Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail - have made lavish arrangements for the grand wedding. They have personally taken care of every aspect to make sure that their sister's wish of having a fairy-tale wedding is fulfilled.

The wedding ceremony will be held as per Hindu-Punjabi tradition, which includes Mehendi, Sangeet, Pheras and Reception. Here are the 10 highlights of Arpita's wedding.

1. Wedding Invitation Card

It is an elegant and simple invitation card in white, gold and pink. It has a floral design with a beautiful emboss of gold on its cover. The guests have reportedly received a special batch of cupcakes with the card.

2. Mehendi Ceremony

The Mehendi ceremony was a family affair held at their Galaxy Apartments on Sunday on 16 November. The function, which started off around 1:00 pm, witnessed the presence of close family members, including Helen, Sangeeta Bijlani, Sohail Khan, Alvira Khan, Atul Agnihotri among others.

3 Sangeet Ceremony

The Sangeet was also held at the Galaxy Apartments and was attended by several Bollywood celebrities. However, Shah Rukh Khan was the party's center of attraction. A photo featuring him and Salman Khan kissing Arpita at the event went viral on the social media.

4 Wedding in Nizam Palace

The Khan brothers have booked the entire Taj Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad for two days (18 and 19 November) and have reportedly shelled out ₹2 crore alone for that. Falaknuma, which is perched atop a hill, has 60 beautiful rooms. It is the palace of the seventh Nizam, Mehboob Ali Khan and was restored into a luxury hotel by Taj Group of Hotels in 2010.

5. Wedding Dress

Well-known designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla have designed the wedding dress for Arpita, while Katrina Kaif's make-up artist Daniel Bauer does the bride's make-up. Falguni and Shane Peacock have designed the outfits of the bride and groom for the reception, while Raghvendra Rathore did it for the Sangeet.

6. Guest List

The Khan family has reportedly invited around 200 guests for Arpita's wedding and the list includes Bollywood biggies, politicians, sportsmen and industrialists. 

7. Menu

The guests will be served brunch, lunch and dinner with almost all the dishes on 18 November. Hyderabadi cuisine like Biriyani, 'Haleem' and Pathar Ka Gosht are also among the popular Deccani cuisines to be served at the function.

8. Security Arrangements

The bride's family has also made special security arrangements for the VIPs. Only the invitees are allowed to enter the hotel and gatecrashers and media are strictly banned. South Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police V Satyanarayana said that the police will ensure that there is no inconvenience caused to the 200 guests.

9. Wedding Gift

The wedding day of Arpita coincides with the wedding anniversary of her parents Salim and Salma Khan. Besides making all the grand arrangements for his sister's fairytale wedding, Salman has reportedly planned to gift a three-bedroom terrace flat worth ₹16 crore for her.

10. Marriage Reception

A grand reception will be held in Mumbai on 21 November, which will be attended by all close friends of the Khan family from various fields.
