Warne's Warriors defeated Sachin's Blasters in the second T20 at Minute Maid Park in Houston by 57 runs and have hence won the three-match All-Stars series, 2-0. The Warriors scored a massive 262 runs in the first innings, which was a daunting task for the Blasters side despite possessing some star batsmen in their line up.

There were a number of former Indian cricketers on show in Houston and let us see how they fared during the second T20. Sachin Tendulkar led side -- Sachin's Blasters – had Sourav Ganguly and Virender Sehwag while Ajit Agarkar represented Warne's Warriors.

Sachin Tendulkar â€“ The Blasters' captain looked good in the second T20 at Minute Maid Park in Houston as he was cheered by the fans in the stadium for each and every run he scored. Amongst all the Indian batsmen, Tendulkar looked best as he scored 33 runs from 20 balls, which included three fours and two sixes. Sachin was dismissed by the wily off-spinner, Saqlain Mustaq. Had Tendulkar stayed longer at the crease, things could have got interesting.

 Sourav Ganguly â€“ The elegant batsman was more than eager to dazzle cricket fans in the USA after not being able to participate in the 1st T20 in New York, but the left-hander was not able to deliver the magic in Houston as he only scored 12 runs from 12 balls, which included a four and six. In a format, where scoring runs every single ball is a must, Ganguly played a few dot balls and pressure got to him as he was dismissed by Kallis. Ganguly must be disappointed with his batting performance as he is capable of taking the attack to the opposition.

Virender Sehwag â€“ With a score of 262 runs put up by Warne's Warriors in the first innings, the Blasters required Sehwag to fire on all cylinders. Though the Indian batsman started off the innings in a bright manner, his stay on the crease was short lived with the Delhi lad being dismissed for 16 runs, which included 2 sixes. Sehwag failed to come up with a 1st T20 repeat performance as he had scored 55 runs from 22 balls in New York. Sehwag, who was also asked to bowl by Tendulkar, was taken to the cleanest by the Warriors' batsmen as he conceded 19 runs from his solitary over, but did manage to dismiss Jacques Kallis.

Ajit Agarkar â€“ The Mumbai lad was the only Indian player, who was a part of the winning Warne's Warriors side. Agarkar shared the new ball alongside Wasim Akram and the Indian bowler looked in good shape as he bowled at Tendulkar and Sehwag with good accuracy. Agarkar played an important role with the ball as he dismissed Sehwag in his first over, which was a huge sigh of relief for Shane Warne and a massive loss to Blasters, who were pinning their hopes on Sehwag for an electrifying start. Agarkar finished with 40 runs from four overs.

Now, all the Indian stars, who have failed in the second T20 in Houston, will be eager to make amends in the third and final T20 match of the All-Stars series in Los Angeles on 14 November.
