Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and President of India Droupadi Murmu, among other leaders, are often busy, and it is hard to get their dates for meetings and casual interactions. However, God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar, met all three, Rahul Gandhi, Congress leader; PM Modi; and the President of India, among other ministers, and personally invited the leaders for the wedding of his son Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandok.
Sachin Tendulkar, along with his wife Anjali, son Arjun, his fiancée Saaniya, daughter Sara and a few others, met Rahul Gandhi at Sonia Gandhi's 10 Janpath residence. Sachin also invited President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for Arjun's wedding earlier in the day.
The pictures were shared on the social media handles of Sachin Tendulkar. Netizens indeed couldn't believe their eyes when they saw Sachin pulling this move, wherein he met all the big leaders in one day and invited both PM Modi and Rahul Gandhi, considering they belong to opposition parties.

However, Congress Kerala alleged pressure on Sachin Tendulkar to delete a post with Rahul Gandhi.
According to Congress Kerala, Tendulkar posted his photo with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 7:13 pm, followed by a picture with Union Home Minister Amit Shah at 8:18 pm, and another with President Droupadi Murmu at 8:48 pm.
The Congress unit wrote on X: "Among all these, the post with Rahul Gandhi went viral, clocking 627K views in just over two hours. The party further alleged that this surge in engagement 'did not go down well" with what it described as "the King", without explicitly naming anyone.
He managed to meet the President, PM, HM and LoP on the same day..

About Arjun Tendulkar
Arjun is an all-rounder and has played five IPL matches for the Mumbai Indians (MI), taking three wickets while conceding 114 runs. He has also scored 13 runs in his IPL career so far. Arjun now plays for Goa in domestic cricket after making his Mumbai debut in 2021.
Arjun Tendulkar was traded to Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) from Mumbai Indians (MI) ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 mini-auction last year and will play for LSG this season. While the five-time IPL champions were required to part ways with Arjun, they secured the services of leg-spinner Mayank Markande in a trade with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
Mumbai Indians had earlier selected Arjun in the IPL 2021 mini-auction for Rs 20 lakh, but he did not feature in any matches that season. MI bought him again for Rs 30 lakh in the IPL 2022 mega-auction, and he made his long-awaited IPL debut in 2023, taking three wickets in four games. Ahead of IPL 2024, Hardik Pandya replaced Rohit Sharma as MI captain, and Arjun appeared in only one match that season.

In the IPL 2025 mega-auction, Arjun went unsold in the initial round but was later acquired by MI at his base price of Rs 30 lakh in the accelerated round. He did not get a game that season and remained on the bench.
