Saakshyam full movie leaked on torrents: Free download to affect its box office collection

The gang released the full movie on their torrent sites for free download a day after the film was released in the cinema halls. This pirated copy made its way to other websites within no time.

Saakshyam is a big budget movie and stakes are very high on it. The makers, who are aware of the consequences of its piracy, have taken all precautionary measures to curb it.

They reportedly got into action soon after they got to about its leak and were able to take its pirated copy down from some websites, but a couple of sites have still managed to hold this copy and are offering the full movie for free download.

Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and Pooja Hegde could not have its US premieres and morning shows in India on its opening day due to some financial issues but yet managed to register a decent response.

Saakshyam has collected Rs 5.75 crore gross at the worldwide box office on the first day and fetched Rs 3.50 crore for Rs 3.50 crore to its distributors, who have shelled out Rs 25 crore on its global theatrical rights.

Saakshyam revolves around the story of a rich NRI named Vishwa (Bellamkonda Sreenivas), who falls in love with Soundarya Lahari (Pooja Hegde). He gets tangled in issues involving her family when he follows her to India. The rest of the movie is about how five elements of nature come together to his support.

Saakshyam, which has been written and directed by Sriwass, has struck a chord with the audience and garnered good talk from them. The word of mouth is helping it fare well at the box office on the following days. But free download of the full movie is likely to keep some people away from the cinema halls.
