The passion and conviction with which I heard Vineeth Sreenivasan, Shaan Rahman and Noble Thomas talk about their close friend's story which inspired Jacobinte Swargarajyam is reflected in the lovely movie they've made putting all their hearts into it, which has led to the rave reviews and the applause at the end of the movie. Every department and every actor has done a wonderful job - Renji Panicker Sir, Nivin Pauly, Sreenath Bhasi, Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, Jomon T John, Jayashree Lakshmi Narayanan, Ranjan Abraham, TG Ravi Sir, Saikumar, Aju Varghese, Aima Rosmy Sebastian, Dinesh Prabhakar, Stacen and of course, the new find Ashwin Kkumar have all done incredibly well. JACOBINTE SWARGARAJYAM

Vineeth Sreenivasan has the ability to replicate exactly the same moment we have experienced in all our lives. Yes, he makes you relate. He is our ace director. Jomon is that cinematographer who does equally good as a hero without even being in front of screen. Shaan Rahman's music has been consistently captivating anyway smile emoticon

Quick Scanning of Actors

Renji Panicker Sir's character reminded me of my uppa. This was My favourite character. Esp. on how gracefully he shares his wisdom to his son. He was too threee four good being Jacob. Wow, Sir. Claps. Nivin Pauly is phenomenal. He has portrayed Jerry's role so neat and clean. He looks fab on screen with awesome outfits too. Lakshmy Madame (Wow), Aima Rosmy, Sreenath Bhasi, SaiKumar Sir, Stacen, Tg Ravi Sir, Dineshettan were all just perfect. Now, to see my brother Ashwin Kkumar as Murali Menon. Bro, the reason why you have given world class performance in the first movie itself is because you were already born with it. You were just Murali Menon there. Not an inch less or more. We love you and your talent so so so much. It was good to see few people in between like My bros Vnoy , Sandeep,Jyothishettan, Assif YogiThe talented Len and Ameel. Special shout out to Neemo, Sachin Ramdas , Vivek RanjitManjuvani and Nishafor being a part of JSR. And last but not least Hugs to my bro, Gregory Jacob who lived the reality, before this became an inspirational cinema. Watch this one guys and girls, coz being there for family is the 'best of being there'

Sachin Warrier

This is clear in my memory. A couple of years back, Vineeth ettan, Shaan ettan and I, along with a group of several senior and talented artistes were on a tour of shows abroad for about a month. I remember, on long road trips between cities, Vineeth ettan being completely transfixed by the landscape passing by us, and deeply lost in thought. One day we were in his room, got talking about films, and he narrated a few moments from 'Jacobinte Swargarajyam' that he had been carrying around in his mind. I was in tears by the sheer force of emotion in his words and thoughts. Scenes from the life of Jacob and his family would play in my mind in the days that followed. I heard Shaan ettan speak with great conviction, of the decisions they had taken for the background score and the music of the film too. I was blown away when they revealed it was the story of Gregory Jacob, who I had met and known quite well as Vineeth ettan's friend, for about two years by then. Going by Greg's jovial ways, I would never have imagined he had gone through what Vineeth ettan had narrated to me. So in a way, I started watching Jacobinte Swargarajyam about two years back. And I finished watching it yesterday. It's a story of a family's joy, troubles, hope and redemption. And probably of mankind's innate desire to have a place to call 'home'.

I could only watch I awe, as Vineeth ettan possibly delivered his best as a director so far, Shaan ettan pulled off some incredibly nuanced and thought-out score. Renji Panicker sir, Nivin ettan, Sreenath Bhasi, Aju ettan, Ganesh, Divya chechi, Vinod ettan, Sithara chechi, Suchith, Manu, Hari ettan, and so many others I know personally who have worked for this film, have given their heart to it, and the sum is definitely greater than its parts. And finally, Noble etta, you're gonna produce incredible films in future. But I'm sure you'll always be proud this was your first.Gregory Jacob, Greg, we're all happy and proud to have known someone like you PS : I'm super glad to be a small part of this Swargarajyam.
