The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Apollo Nida is engaged in prison, according to a US Weekly report.

He reportedly started dating his fiancé two years ago before getting engaged in the past couple of months.

As TMZ reports that Nida, 37, began dating his fiance two years ago before he began his eight-year prison sentence in September 2014. He is serving an eight-year sentence in prison after pleading guilty to bank fraud and identity theft.

Recently Bravo revealed the identity of Apollo's fiancé very recently. Bravo was reportedly keeping Sherien Almufti's identity quiet as she has filmed scenes for Real Housewives of Atlanta's latest season and may make an appearance at a later date. Sherien is also resident in New Jersey.

The news comes less than two weeks after Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nido finalized their divorce. On the last episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta, Phaedra told her co-stars that the divorce was still in progress and that she wasn't seeing anybody. She has currently been focussing on raising the couple's two boys.

"I am not looking for a man, as I know the right man is looking for me. When he finds me, I know he will be God fearing, kind, generous, conscientious, but most importantly he will love my sons as much as I do," she shared on the reality show. "My first priority is always my children, so to date me, you have to court them as well."

Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sunday nights at 8 p.m. ET only on Bravo.
