The countdown for the wedding of one of the most loved couples, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, has begun.
A few days ago, the couple's wedding invitation kit went viral, officially confirming that they will tie the knot in Udaipur on February 26, 2026, with the reception scheduled for March 3, 2026.
Now, glimpses of Vijay's house in Hyderabad, decorated with lights and flowers, have surfaced online. Wedding preparations have been making the rounds for quite some time, and the residences of Vijay and Rashmika, lit up with lights, have left fans gushing as they eagerly await the wedding festivities and the big day.
Apart from their residences, the wedding venue itself—a private hill resort on the outskirts of Udaipur—is also beautifully decorated. The couple will take their nuptial vows at The Mementoes by ITC Hotels, an ultra-luxury resort set in the Aravalli Range, about 25 kilometers from the city. The resort aligns with the couple's desire for maximum privacy and is known for being exclusive and peaceful. The palace's decorations are also being shared widely on social media.
No phones, no celebs
The pre-wedding celebrations will begin on February 24 and conclude with the wedding ceremony on February 26, according to India Today.
As per reports, "It's a very small guest list. No phones will be allowed. Even the team capturing the wedding has signed NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements)."
The couple has enlisted a specialized overseas agency to secure the expansive Udaipur venue. This team will work alongside local Rajasthan security forces to enforce a strict "no-entry" policy for uninvited guests.
Vijay and Rashmika have reportedly chosen not to invite actors or colleagues from the film industry. According to insiders, the couple has also planned a break after the wedding. "Both Vijay and Rashmika have taken a month off after the wedding."
While the Udaipur wedding will remain private, a larger reception is expected in Hyderabad on March 3 for friends and members of the film fraternity.
