Mani Ratnam's "OK Kanmani" has been getting rave reviews and appreciation has been pouring from all quarters for the lead actor Dulquer Salmaan, who has won many a hearts with his performance in the film.

Dulquer, son of Padmashree award winning actor Mammootty, was flooded with congratulatory message after the release of the movie but one message did not go down well with either the actor or his fans.

Bollywood filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma courted controversy once again when he congratulated Dulquer for his performance but at the same time took a dig at Dulquer's father Mammootty.

Ram Gopal Varma wrote that Dulquer's performance was really good and that Mammootty should take acting lessons from him. He added that the veteran actor comes across as a junior artist when compared to his son.

Meanwhile, Dulquer chose to be subtle in his reply to the comments made by Ram Gopal Varma and said that it will take him ten lifetimes to become one-millionth of the actor that his father is.

However, ace filmmaker RGV later responded saying that the young actor's reply was that of a biased son.
