Raksha Bandhan, a festival that celebrates the relationship between brothers and sisters, is being observed on Saturday, 29 August.
On this special day, the sister ties a rakhi (sacred thread) on the wrist of her brother, showing her love for him. The brother, on the other hand, promises to protect his sister from any harm.
