Producers Niharika Konidela and Umesh Kumar Bansal have announced the release date of Sangeet Shoban's Raakaasaa, which will hit the theatres worldwide on April 3, 2026.
Raakaasaa has been written and directed by Manasa Sharma and produced under the banners of Pink Elephant Pictures. The project has now completed its entire shoot and is currently in post-production. The team is focused on finalising the film's edit, music, sound design, and overall visual treatment.
The release date was unveiled alongside a new poster, which reflects the film's imaginative tone and genre positioning. The teaser, which was released earlier on YouTube, offered audiences their first glimpse into the world of Raakaasaa. Rather than revealing narrative specifics, the teaser established the film's tonal space, blending humor, fantasy elements, and moments of tension.
Raakaasaa has generated steady interest within the Telugu film fraternity. The makers opted for a gradual reveal strategy. With the release date now locked, the film enters a more defined phase in its promotional journey, giving audiences and trade circles a clear timeline to look forward to.
Starring Sangeeth Shobhan and Nayan Sarika in the lead roles, the movie is supported by a strong ensemble cast that includes Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Ashish Vidyarthi, Getup Srinu, Sukwinder Singh, Aruna Bikshu, Ramana Bhargav, Vasu Inturi, Rohini, and Rohan.
