Director Dinesh Vijan's much-awaited Bollywood movie Raabta starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti Sanon and Jim Sarbh has received mixed reviews from the audience, who are impressed with the lead pair's chemistry.
Raabta is a romantic thriller film written by Siddharth-Garima and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Homi Adajania and Bhushan Kumar under the banner Maddock Films. This love story is set in two periods, which has generated a lot of curiosity about the movie.
Shiv (Sushant Singh Rajput) and Saira (Kriti Sanon) fall in love with each other and form an inseparable connection. But the twist in the tale is that Saira crosses paths with a reincarnated lover, who is determined to make her his lover again. The connection that was forged several hundred years ago takes Shiv and Saira on a hysterical rollercoaster of love, intrigue, entertainment and life.

The audiences say that Raabta deals with a tried-and-tested story explored in movies like Lila Ek Paheli, Mirjya and Magadheera in the past. But Dinesh Vijan's treatment of the subject is different, which makes the film an interesting watch. Romance and action scenes keep the viewers engaged throughout the movie.
Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon have delivered good performances and the chemistry between the two is the highlight of the movie. Jim Sarbh, Varun Sharma, Nidhi Subbaiah, Satendra Bagasi, Navdeep Tomar Gujjar, Rahul Kohli and Karan Singh Chhabra have done justice to their roles. Deepika Padukone and Rajkumar Rao's special appearance are also assets of the film, say viewers.
Raabta has rich production values and Pritam and JAM8's songs, Sachin-Jigar's background score, Martin Preiss' picturisation, action choreography, VFX works, beautiful locales, costumes and art direction are the attractions on the technical front, add film-goers.
