With megastar Mammootty enjoying a huge fan following in Kerala, every movie of the actor made good business on the opening day. In "Puthiya Niyamam," Mammootty plays the role of Adv. Louis Pothen with communist inclination and in the movie's teaser, he is heard speaking in Thrissur slang of Kerala, reminding us of his role in Ranjith's 2010 movie "Pranchiyettan and the Saint," which is one of the best films of Mammootty till date. Meanwhile, after some flops, his 2015 film "Pathemari," directed by Salim Ahamed, did tremendous business in India and abroad, helping him regain the top spot at the box office.
Even though Nayantara began her acting career in Malayalam movies, she has become one of the busiest actresses in Kollywood with many projects in her kitty. Most of her recent flicks became box office hits and she will be seen in the role of a housewife named Vasuki Iyer married to Adv Louis Pothen (Mammootty), who belongs to a different religion. Looking at the posters and teaser video, Nayantara looks gorgeous in her never-seen-before avatar of a mother.
