After a scheduled server downtime, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) for mobiles came back online on July 23. Fans were delighted to resume their game on the phones, but some were a little unhappy by the fact that there was no new software update.

Game developer Tencent Games was widely reported that it took down the server to upload the new 0.7.0 update with new features for the Android and iOS versions. But it was routine shut down for maintenance purposes.

On the bright side, the company's official Twitter handle has promised that PUBG Mobile 0.7.0 global update is indeed coming soon and in a bid to brighten mood of the loyal patrons, teased a short video clip showing off the new 'War mode', which promises to have high-octane battles with new ammunition to fights and more.

However, we have to wait a few days if not weeks for the 0.7.0 global update. It is still beta testing and interested gamers can install Beta PUBG Mobile on Google Play now. It can be noted that the game is unstable and will crash at random times.
