Bollywood (and Hollywood's) latest official couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got engaged in a private ceremony in Mumbai on Saturday, August 18, 2018. The couple and especially Nick Jonas won hearts by taking part in a traditional roka and engagement ceremony at Priyanka Chopra's home. The singer also wore an ethnic kurta and churidar for the puja.

And now, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have again shown us their kindness and love with a visit to an orphanage in Mumbai a day after their engagement! This act has touched many hearts when the couple could've just had another party at home or a five-star in Mumbai. But they chose to spend their time at the St Catherine's orphanage in Andheri west in the heart of Bollywood in Mumbai.

Priyanka's bestie, VJ Anusha Dandekar who was part of her engagement, too accompanied the new couple at St Catherine's orphanage.

The couple then also visited Priyanka Chopra's old home in Raj Classic building in Andheri West.

Priyanka Chopra is known to be at the forefront of causes, notably as the Unicef Goodwill Ambassador for Child Rights.

Several Bollywood celebrities visit St Catherine's orphanage and are part of the charity activities there. 

Meanwhile, Nick Jonas has a new nickname given by Priyanka Chopra's fans - Jiju or Jijaji, which means brother-in-law in Hindi. The American singer's Indianness came through in his engagement pictures, leaving entire India gushing over their new damaad (son-in-law).

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas made their engagement official by posting similar pictures on Instagram but with individual messages. In fact, Nick Jonas even commented on Priyanka Chopra's Instagram post in a sweet manner.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' wedding date is not out yet, but the buzz is that the two will get married sometime in September closer to Nick's birthday, or in October this year.
