Prithviraj Sukumaran's latest Malayalam movie "Darvinte Parinamam" (also spelt as "Darwinte Parinamam") released Friday, March 18, locking horns with Asif Ali-starrer "Ithu Thaanda Police." The Jijo Antony directorial has been released throughout India in nearly 300 screens.
"Darvinte Parinamam" narrates some unfortunate events that happen in the life of a man and a local goon. The 2-hr-29-minute flick is said to be a thriller as well as a family entertainer. Chemban Vinod Jose plays the titular role of Gorrilla Darvin in the movie and Prithviraj is seen as Anil Anto, opposite Chandini Shreedharan, who made her acting debut in Muhsin Parari's "KL10" in 2015. The movie also has Soubin Shahir, Balu Varghese and Mamukkoya in pivotal roles.

While Manoj Nair has scripted the movie, Abinandhan Ramanujam has handled the cinematography of the flick, for which Shankar Sharma has composed the music and background score. PS Rafeeq, Harinarayanan BK, Arun Ittilath and Pious Guit have penned the lyrics of songs, which received positive response from the audience. "Darvinte Parinamam" is produced by Prithviraj, Arya, Santhosh Sivan and Shaji Nadesan under the banner of August Cinema.
Expectations are sky high from the upcoming movie as Prithviraj's previous four movies — "Ennu Ninte Moideen," "Amar Akbar Anthony," "Anarkali" and "Paavada" — did tremendous box office business after opening to positive response from the audience.
