Alphonse Puthren and Nivin Pauly's blockbuster movie "Premam" did tremendous business in Tamil Nadu and is all set for its last show in Chennai on 13 January. After completing 230 days of its theatrical run at Escape Cinemas in Chennai, the movie will be screened for the last time at 6:45 pm on Wednesday to a houseful show.

"Premam", released on 29 May, had houseful shows for months and regularly witnessed decent theatre occupancy. The Nivin Pauly-starrer is the first Malayalam movie to have crossed the historic run of 200 days at the Chennai box office even though it could only complete 125 days in Kerala, showing the huge fan following for Nivin in Tamil Nadu.

Recently, Nivin, who was in Chennai to be part of Chiyaan Vikram's music video "Spirit of Chennai", watched the hit movie with his Tamil fans on the 222nd day of its screening.
