"Rebel" star Prabhas, who is now busy shooting for SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali", is reportedly set to give voice-over to Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu in his forthcoming movie, which is directed by "Mirchi" fame Koratala Siva.
Reports suggest that Prabhas could not say no to the director, when the latter requested him to do a voice-over for his second venture.
"Koratala and Prabhas share a good rapport between them since their movie "Mirchi" and this has prompted Prabhas to accept the proposal," according to 123Telugu.
Siva started his career as dialogue writer for Ravi Teja's 2005 film "Bhadra". Later, he has also served dialogues for other Telugu films such as "Okkadunnadu", "Munna, "Brindavanam" and "Oosaravelli". In 2013, he turned director with the film "Mirchi", which was successful both critically and commercially.
"Mirchi" gave a much-needed break to Koratala Siva. Several leading actor came forward to give their call-sheet for his next venture, but he has chosen to work with Mahesh Babu. Besides direction, he has also written for his second venture, which was liked by Prince.
"The actor is happy with the director and the script," Deccan Chronicle quoted a source close to the actor as saying.
Mahesh Babu has had two big releases such as "1: Nenokkadine" and "Aagadu" in 2014. Both the films have garnered mixed reviews from critics. Hence, the actor has been extra-careful about the script of his next film. He will start shooting for Siva's film soon. "He will join the shooting from 8 November onwards for the first schedule in Pune," added the source.
Actress Shruti Haasan has been roped in to play the heroine opposite Mahesh Babu in the yet-to-be-titled film, which will feature Rajendra Prasad and Jagapathi Babu in important roles. The film, which is produced by E Naveen, Y Ravi Kumar and CV Mohan, is touted to be a family drama and some of its portions will be shot in exotic foreign locales.
