PornHub, the online streaming service, is celebrating Star Wars Day 2016 with the astromech droid R2-D2. The website is known for celebrating all special days, including Arbor Day and April Fools' Day.

Generally, fans celebrate Star Wars Day by wishing each other "May the fourth be with you." However, PornHub has gone a step further and PornHub placed an image of R2-D2 next to their icon on the website on May 4, 2016.

As regular visitors may know, the website has quite a few videos based in the universe created by George Lucas. In fact, the video gallery suggests that Sci-fi fans make up a huge demographic of the website.

However, PornHub is not partial to just "Star Wars" celebrations. In fact, on April 1, 2016, the website pranked all their users by changing their name to CornHub. The landing page was filled with photos of juicy, succulent corn.

Headlines even promised visitors "hard shucking" and "a-maize-ing hardcore action." However, the links on the images and videos redirected viewers to the content they would ideally want to see.

PornHub has proved to be a master of pun and comedy over the years. However, they use it for great causes as well. As part of the Arbour day celebrations some time ago, PornHub promised to plant a tree for every 100 porn videos watched on the channel.

"At Pornhub, we give a countless amount of wood every day. Playing off that, we saw an opportunity to promote our brand and give back to the community," Pornhub communications representative Mike Williams told Mashable.

Meanwhile, PornHub made an ad this past Christmas that made a lot of people rethink their gifts for friends and family. Okay, that may not be entirely true, but at least the ad made a mark. Check out the video shared on YouTube here and see if you agree. Don't worry, it's definitely PG-13.
