Frank Hoogerbeets, a self-proclaimed earthquake researcher, has predicted the possibility of major tremors in the first week of 2019. In his website 'Ditrianum', Hoogerbeets argued that a rare planetary alignment will make earth's tectonic plates move, and this is the main reason behind the increased seismic activities this week.

As per Hoogerbeets, the earth, moon, Venus, Mercury and Saturn will come in a rare planetary alignment beginning from December 30, and this alignment will continue until the end of this week.

The researcher claims that he is using a sophisticated system called SSGI (Solar System Geometry Index) to make these predictions, and he believes that a major tremor will hit the planet in the coming days. However, he failed to predict the exact place where the earthquake will hit.

The self-proclaimed seismic researcher also added that the earthquake will measure more than 6 on the Richter scale.

This is not the first time that Hoogerbeets is predicting possible tremors which may hit the earth. A few days back, Hoogerbeets predicted that earth will be hit by a series of tremors during the Christmas period.

Interestingly, in the same timeline predicted by Hoogerbeets, a giant tsunami hit the beaches around Sunanda Strait in Indonesia, which resulted in the death of more than 200 people.

Authorities later clarified that the giant tsunami was the result of Krakatau volcanic eruption. However, conspiracy theorists have started arguing that these increase in natural disasters is hinting the authenticity of Hoogerbeets' predictions. They believe that a sudden movement in tectonic plates might have resulted in an unexpected volcanic explosion.

Even though conspiracy theorists are convinced about the predictions made by Hoogerbeets, experts have dismissed these claims, and they have already made it clear that no modern technology can predict potential seismic movements with precision.
