Just like how Aamir Khan-Anushka Sharma movie, "PK" ("Peekay"), created waves at the Indian box office, the film is now shattering records in China as well.

"PK", which was released in China on 22 May, has officially become the highest grossing Bollywood film overseas.

According to Bollywood Hungama, the Aamir Khan starrer has collected a total of $6.37 million (₹40.48 crore) in four days and with this, the total overseas gross collection of "PK" is $33.07 million (₹210.19 crore).

Besides, Aamir Khan's "Dhoom 3" and "3 Idiots" stand in second and third position in the list of highest Bollywood grossers in the overseas market. "Dhoom 3" had broken the record of Chinese film, "No Zuo No Die", and had managed to find its space in China's top 10 lists.

"PK," which hit theatres on 19 December 2014, enjoyed fantastic opening at the box office. Positive word of mouth helped the film sustain its business and make huge collections at the box office.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, "PK" is a comedy drama in which Aamir Khan plays the role of an alien and Anushka appears as a television reporter. The film also has Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani and Saurab Shukla in pivotal roles. The movie was produced by Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films.
