Christmas holidays are just around the corner, and that means Aamir Khan's film is set to take the box office by storm. The perfectionist of Bollywood, Aamir, has ruled the box office at Christmas and this time too it will be no different.

Aamir's "PK" will be releasing on 19 December, which is his lucky period to release films and thus hopes are high that it will set records like his last release "Dhoom 3".

Check out our predictions below:

"PK" marks the comeback of blockbuster director-actor jodi Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir. The duo gave the first 200 crore movie, "3 Idiots", to the film industry. Not only businesswise, the comedy drama also received critical praise.

Director Hirani is known for setting a trend in Bollywood with films such as "Munna Bhai MBBS", "Lage Raho Munna Bhai" and "3 Idiots". And hence moviegoers are waiting for the release of "PK".

The second reason why "PK" will break all records is because it features Aamir in the lead role. His last film "Dhoom 3" has raised the bar, for himself and all other actors in B-town.

He remained on top at the box office chart with "3 Idiots" and last year he made a new record with "Dhoom 3". It is the highest grossing film at the worldwide box office. Even "Ghajini" which was released on 24 December, 2008, became the first 100 crore grossing film.

Looking at the box office performance of the previous films one can expect "PK" to beat all the records. Also, the onus is on "PK" to perform well as it is Aamir's only film this year and next year also there won't be any release.

To maintain Aamir's popularity the film has to do well at the worldwide box office. As of now, the film's trailer, promos and songs are getting positive response and it hopes to maintain that same buzz till the movie releases.
