Thousands of people gathered in Bengaluru on Sunday as Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the 45th anniversary celebrations of The Art of Living Foundation at its International Center.
During his visit, PM Modi inaugurated the Dhyan Mandir and offered prayers at the Ganesh Temple located within the ashram campus. The event witnessed large participation from spiritual seekers, volunteers and dignitaries, highlighting the organisation's global outreach and humanitarian work over the past four decades.

Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister praised the foundation's contribution to society through its various service initiatives and community programmes. He said the work carried out by the organisation reflected its commitment towards social welfare and collective harmony.
PM Modi also met spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar during the visit. Sharing details of the interaction, the Prime Minister said they held extensive discussions on several subjects, particularly the work being undertaken by The Art of Living Foundation. He lauded Ravi Shankar's dedication towards promoting societal good and spiritual well-being.
The celebrations marked a significant milestone for the Bengaluru-based organisation, which was founded in 1981 and today operates in several countries through programmes focused on meditation, education and humanitarian service.
