Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on November 15, 2025. Almost two months after welcoming their baby girl, the Bollywood couple has finally revealed the name of their daughter. The new parents have named their little angel Parvati Paul Rao.
Taking to Instagram, RajKummar Rao and Patralekhaa shared the first glimpse of their baby girl, showing her tiny fingers, and wrote, "With folded hands and full hearts, we introduce our greatest blessing... PARVATI PAUL RAO."
The post also featured an adorable photo of Rajkummar and Patralekhaa holding their little one's hands.
Here's what the name means
Parvati, derived from Sanskrit, means "daughter of the mountain" (from Parvata, meaning mountain), referring to her as the daughter of the Himalayas. She is a major Hindu goddess and the consort of Lord Shiva, symbolising love, devotion, fertility and power. She is often seen as the nurturing divine mother and is counted among the principal goddesses along with Lakshmi and Saraswati.
Netizens and celebrities congratulated the couple for choosing a name associated with a goddess.
Reacting to the name announcement, actress Aahana Kumra commented, "Congratulations @patralekhaa and @rajkummar_rao and welcome little Parvati."
Others from the entertainment industry, including Bhumi Pednekar and Ayushmann Khurrana, also dropped red heart emojis in the comment section.
RajKummar and Patralekhaa had announced the arrival of their baby girl on November 15, writing, "We are over the moon. God has blessed us with a baby girl... Blessed parents Patralekhaa and Rajkumaar."
The caption on the post read, "❤️ The greatest blessing God has given us on our 4th wedding anniversary."
The couple had announced their first pregnancy in July 2025.

RajKummar first noticed Patralekhaa in an advertisement and found her extremely cute, wishing to meet her someday. The two eventually met on the sets of Hansal Mehta's 2014 film CityLights. During the shoot, they fell in love and began dating.
After being in a relationship for several years, the Maalik actor proposed to Patralekhaa in October 2021, and the couple tied the knot in November 2021 in an intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family.
