Director Jaya Shankar's Telugu movie Paperboy, featuring newbies Santosh Shoban, Riya Suman and Tanya Hope in the lead roles, has received positive review and rating from the audience.
Paperboy is a romantic comedy-drama. Filmmaker Sampath Nandi has penned the script and dialogues for the movie and also produced it under his home banner. The film has received a U certificate from the censor board and its runtime is 2.05 hours.
Paperboy movie story: The film is about happy-go-lucky boy Ravi (Santosh Shoban), who has completed BTech and is looking for a job. He is selling newspaper for his livelihood. It is a love at first sight for him, as he develops liking for a rich girl Dharani (Riya Suman), who reciprocates his love. But the status stands between the two. How the two will unite forms crux of the story.
Analysis: Paperboy is a regular romance drama, but a refreshing treatment here and there makers it interesting watch. The first half deals impressive story, which nosedives after interval. The movie falls flat due to its unrealistic second half and poor climax, say the audience.
Performances: Debutants Santosh Shoban and Riya Suman have tried their best to do justice to thier roles and the sparkling chemistry between the two is the highlight of Paperboy. Tanya Hope, Posani Krishna Murali and others have also done good jobs, say the viewers.
Technical: Paperboy has decent production values and beautiful picturisation and selection of exotic locales make it a visual treat. Songs, background score and dailogues are other attractions on the technical front, say the film goers.
