'Paper Leak Inka Bahana Hai': Abhijeet Dipke's attacker on why he slapped him; CJP founder says 'physical attacks show fear'

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has strongly condemned an alleged physical attack on him during a youth protest in Jaipur, describing such actions as a sign of fear and cowardice. The incident occurred at Shaheed Smarak while Dipke was participating in a demonstration focused on issues including the alleged NEET paper leak, unemployment and accountability in the education sector.

According to videos circulating on social media, Dipke was being carried on the shoulders of supporters as he made his way towards the stage when one or more men allegedly approached him, slapped him multiple times and attempted to pull him down from the crowd. The incident created panic among attendees and briefly disrupted the protest.

Moments after the alleged assault, Dipke's supporters rushed towards the accused, leading to a scuffle at the venue. Police personnel stationed at the site quickly intervened, brought the situation under control and detained the alleged assailant for questioning.

A video of the accused speaking to the media while in police custody has since gone viral online. In the clip, the bearded man identifies himself as a Jaipur resident and claims he is not affiliated with any political party. He alleges that Dipke was misleading young people and making false claims about examination-related issues, including the NEET paper leak controversy.

The accused further claimed that no NEET paper leak had taken place and accused Dipke of spreading misinformation, though he did not provide any evidence to support his allegations. The video also captured him making provocative remarks directed at the CJP founder.

Reacting to the incident, Dipke took to X and reiterated his commitment to peaceful protest.

"Physical attacks are a sign of fear and cowardice. We will continue to raise our voices peacefully. I am a follower of Gandhi and Ambedkar, and I will keep fighting this battle with peace and love," he wrote.

He also renewed his demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

The Jaipur protest was part of the Cockroach Janta Party's ongoing nationwide campaign highlighting concerns raised by students and young job seekers. The movement has focused on issues such as alleged examination irregularities, the NEET paper leak controversy and rising unemployment.

Despite the alleged attack, Dipke said the incident would not deter him from continuing his campaign and emphasised that public issues would continue to be raised through democratic and non-violent means.

The incident has sparked debate on social media, with supporters condemning violence at public demonstrations while backing calls for greater accountability in the education system.
