After Santhanam's "Innimey Ippadithan" and Vadivelu's "Eli", now Vivek's movie "Palakkattu Madhavan" is set to hit the screens in less than a month.

"Palakkattu Madhavan" is a slaptick comedy movie, written and directed by Chandramohan. Sonia Agarwal plays the female lead, and the flick also has Rajendran, Sheela, Imman Annachi, Swaminathan, Manobala and others.
The movie has Srikanth Deva's music, KS Selvaraj's cinematography and K Rajagopal's editing. "Palakkattu Madhavan" deals with a married couple's story, in which the husband wants to earn more than his wife.
Madhavan (Vivek) and Sonia Agarwal (Sonia Agarwal), who have two children, work at the same office. The husband is not happy as his salary is less than his wife's and this led him to quit the job after a fight with his manager (Manobala). But he could not find a better job.
In his bid to earn more than his wife, he adopts an elderly woman named Pattu Mami (Sheela), who will pay him ₹25,000 per month for taking care of her. What happens next should be seen on-screen.
