Read: Oscar Pistorius Sentencing LIVE: Day 2 Begins as Prosecutors Decry House Arrest, Seek Jail for Athlete

Oscar Pistorius has been pronounced guilty of Culpable Homicide although he was cleared of 'murder'. But how many years of jail term he is likely to get? Or will he even evade imprisonment and walk out free?

These questions will be answered on the ongoing entencing which is likely to take several days to comple, as the decision on his punishment will be made inside the same Pretoria high court which said he did not deliberately kill Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day 2013.

The melodramatic, action-packed plot of the more than half-year trial has consumed much of the media's prime-time in every corner of the earth and all eyes will be glued to television sets or online platforms on Monday to see what exact fate lies for the fallen hero of South Africa.

Where to Watch Live

The Oscar Pistorius Sentencing 2014 will most likely begin during the same time his trials were held everyday: 8am GMT (10am local time, 3am EST, and 1:30pm IST).

The entire sentencing will be broadcast live on the 24-hour pop-up channel launched earlier in the year especially for the Pistorius Trial. The channel on DStv, called 'The Oscar Pistorius Trial: A Carte Blanche Channel' will be streaming round-the-clock coverage of the sentencing and could even feature documentaries and talk shows later in the day.

The live channel will be available on DStv Premium, Compact Plus and Compact. It will go on air on DStv's channel 199. See the list HERE.

The channel can be viewed online HERE. (You will require subscription and a Connect ID)

British Newspaper Telegraph also broadcasts live events from the court HERE

In addition to that, follow the official Twitter handle of the Oscar Trial Channel 199 for minute-by-minute live tweeting of the events HERE. Also check the official Facebook page of the Oscar Trail Chennel 199 HERE for live updates.

Additionally check updates from the Twitter Handle of Oscar Pistorius' Public Relations team HERE. The PR team had claimed to give 'factual updates' and 'hard truth' about the events of the trial when a new handle was launched earlier in the year.

How to Get Live Updates on TV and News Websites:

While it might be easier to follow the primary sources of information via live fees in Facebook and live tweeting as mentioned above, it could also be convenient for viewers to switch to any of the international news channels as they will all be live-streaming the entire event. This will allow viewers to get minute-by-minute updates on the sentencing procedures by Judge Thokozile Masipa.

Television viewers could switch to their trusted news channel while online browsers could try the following options: For the US viewers check HERE. For Britain or Asia, try the World Service of BBC HERE. Sky News will also have a live broadcast HERE. For Canada, check HERE.

Key Points to Remember:

  • In her ruling Judge Masipa said that prosecutors had failed to prove an intent to kill when Pistorius fired four rounds of bullets through he locked door of a toilet cubicle.
  • Pistorius, who has often been compared to OJ Simpson of the United States, has always maintained that he mistook Steenkemp for a dangerous intruder.
  • The sentencing on Monday is likely to be to be a lengthy affair because the judge will hear arguments from prosecution and defence lawyers and possibly from psychology experts.
  • Since there is no minimum sentence for culpable homicide in South Africa, there are statistical chances – although unlikely – that the blade runner will just walk free.
