Chinese technology major, Oppo Electronics has announced price cuts for the company's two smartphones N1 and R1 in India.
The company has slashed the Oppo N1 price from ₹37,990 to ₹32,990; whereas the Oppo R1 now costs ₹24,990, which is ₹2000 less than when it got released in May.
Oppo N1 is the company's first marquee phone to hit stores in India in January. It is the world's first 5.9-inch phablet that boasts of a swiveling camera (13.0-megapixel), which can rotate 209-degree, thus eliminating the need for secondary camera on the front and it also enables users to have high-quality video chat.
Other noteworthy feature of the device is the touch-sensitive rear-panel – 'O-Touch' where in user can stroke their fingers on the backside to scroll, navigate and also snap a picture without blocking the display on the front side.
On the other hand, Oppo R1 flaunts a slim uni-body design measuring just 7.1 mm and it boasts Aluminum-Magnesium alloy frame with anti-scratching and anti-explosion technology. It ships with Android v4.2 Jelly Bean with custom ColorOS UI, 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core CPU, Mali-400 graphics engine, 1GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage (no microSD card slot), and 2,410 mAh Li-Ion battery.
Earlier this month, the company launched Oppo Find 7; first QHD (2560 x 1440p) screen based smartphone to set foot in India. This ultra-premium phone boasts Titanium-Aluminum alloy frame having five layers of thermal protective coating to withstand overheating and also houses feature-rich camera which lets user to take 50.0-megapixel resolution photo via 'Super-Zoom' feature.
