OnePlus finally launched the OnePlus 3T in India, a few days after it was released in the United States and a few other countries. The new handset comes with several upgrades over its predecessor, the OnePlus 3, that hit the stores a few months ago.
The OnePlus 3T comes with a price tag of Rs 29,999 for the one with 64GB internal memory and Rs 34,999 for the 128GB version. It will be exclusively available on Amazon India starting December 14 at 12.01 am IST.
Four reasons that make OnePlus 3T a good buy
1) The OnePlus 3T is powered by 2.35GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor compared to Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 CPU seen in its predecessor. Snapdragon 821 is said to be 10 percent more efficient than the Snapdragon 820.
2) The OnePlus 3 comes packed with a 64GB internal memory and 6GB RAM while its successor has a 64GB/128GB internal memory and 6GB RAM.
3) The OnePlus 3T mounts a 16MP main camera with Sony IMX298 senor, 1.12µm lens, OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation), EIS (Electronic Image Stabilisation), f/ 2.0 aperture and PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus, and a 16MP camera with Samsung 3P8SP sensor, 1.0µm lens, EIS, PDAF, and f/2.0 aperture. The OnePlus 3, on the other hand, houses a 16MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus, OIS, LED flash, 1/2.8" sensor size, 1.12 µm pixel size, geo-tagging, touch focus and face detection, and an 8MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1/3.2" sensor size, and 1.4 µm pixel size.
4) The OnePlus 3T houses a 3,400mAh battery with Dash Charge technology (5V, 4A) while the OnePlus 3 has a 3,000mAh battery.
The OnePlus 3T also features a fingerprint sensor, sports a 5.5-inch full HD Optic AMOLED screen with 1,080x1,920 pixels (401 ppi pixel density), measures 152.7x74.7x7.35 mm in dimension, weighs 158 g, and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow-based OxygenOS.
In terms of connectivity, the device has a dual-SIM (type: nano), Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), GPS/GLONASS, BeiDou, USB 2.0 Type-C port, and 3.5mm audio jack.
