OnePlus has confirmed to host the first-ever open sale of OnePlus 2 next week in India.
The company's official e-commerce partner Amazon India will hold the OnePlus 2 open sale on 12 October. This means prospective buyers can book the new phone without having to go through the cumbersome invite system.
But this open sale comes with a rider; the company says the OnePlus 2 sale on Amazon India will lasts for one hour only, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm on Monday. And it has to be noted that one buyer can buy one unit only.
"we equate our fans' journey or rather frustration over the past few months to those of disappointed EDM enthusiasts who couldn't obtain a ticket to TomorrowLand. Everyone wants to be there but only a few end up going in the end. The slower invite roll-out, in this case, meant that we couldn't get the OnePlus 2 into every fans' hands quickly enough," said OnePlus Team on its official blog.
