OnePlus executives have revealed a few more tidbits on the upcoming 2015 flagship smartphone inciting excitement among fans.

Early this week, while revealing the RAM details of the OnePlus 2, the company had claimed it will not disclose any mores features until the launch date, 27 July.

But OnePlus on 9 July, as a part of Pre-OnePlus 2 launch edition, conducted an impromptu AMAA (Ask Me Almost Anything) session on Reddit revealing certain key specifications of the forthcoming device.

The company has confirmed that OnePlus will house a bigger 3,300 mAh battery, 200 mAh more than its predecessor (3100 mAh). With 10% extra power, the new phone will last at least an hour more under mixed usage (if it comes with full HD screen).

OnePlus also posted an image of OnePlus One placed above the new device, confirming that the new phone will be smaller in size compared to the predecessor. [See picture, below]

Later some fans asked the company to reveal camera details of OnePlus 2. While OnePlus declined to do so, it did say that the new phone will boast a few marquee features that are certain to stand apart from rivals.

"Although the OnePlus 2 is smaller than the OnePlus One we've managed to pack almost 10% more juice: the OnePlus 2 will have a whooping 3300mAh battery! Camera-wise, we have a bunch of things that we believe will set the OnePlus 2 apart, but we'll leave the details for the launch :P " said OnePlus on Reddit AMAA.

This reportedly sparked speculation that the new phone might indeed feature dual-camera (probably with OIS: Optical Image Stabilizer), which was spotted in a leaked OnePlus 2 blueprint.
