OnePlus did pretty well with its OnePlus One last year. However, the smartphone manufacturer is leaving no stone unturned to guarantee the success of its recently released successor phone, the 2015 OnePlus 2.

The company managed to keep users intrigued by dropping subtle hints as to what to expect with OnePlus 2. Now after releasing the phone on 27 July 2015, the makers want to continue to ensure the hype doesn't die down. In a recent attempt to do so, it released 25 new OnePlus 2 wallpapers. All these wallpapers will be available for the flagship.

Users sceptical to download these, fearing it may be a leak can rest assured that this is an official release. The wallpapers are available in a zip file and can be downloaded on Droid-Life. While some of the wallpapers reflect the true values of the company, others are there to make OnePlus 2 look cool.

Prior to the release, OnePlus took its time to reveal full specifications of the upcoming phone. The all-new OnePlus 2 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus and f/2.0 aperture, Snapdragon 810 processor, USB Type C port, a physical home button with a fingerprint sensor, a 3,300mAh battery, faster LTE, a slimmer full metal body and a 5.5-inch full HD (1,920×1,080 pixels) display.

The 16GB handset is selling for Rs 21,999 and the 64GB for Rs 24,999.

The first batch of handsets will be available on 11 August 2015 in the US, the UK, the rest of Europe and India. Similar to OnePlus One, sales for this handset too will be through invites only.

OnePlus' newly-introduced Reservation List gives an opportunity for everyone who wishes to buy OnePlus 2 without constantly checking the company's forums and social media accounts. Interested buyers simply have to put down their email address on the list and wait for an invite.

As IBTimes India previously revealed, the Chinese manufacturer received over 5,00,000 invitation requests in just 24 hours. Read through a detailed guideline on how to get your hands on the new OnePlus flagship.
